Shivanee Singhvi is a Counselling Psychologist holding a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. She is on the Growth Professionals Path at the Wellness Hub.
Her journey into the field of psychology began with a lifelong passion that she nurtured since her school days. Despite a fifteen-year career in the aviation industry, she found herself drawn to a higher calling.
Driven by the unwavering belief, instilled in her by her mother, that every woman has the potential to make the impossible happen, Shivanee made a bold career shift. As a mother of two wonderful children herself, she felt a deep calling from her conscience, compelling her to redirect her life’s course. Her mission was clear: to contribute meaningfully to society and add value to the lives of others.
After successfully completing a rigorous two-year Master’s program, Shivanee emerged as a Counselling Psychologist, dedicated to providing a compassionate and secure environment for individuals to share their struggles, fears, and dreams. Her approach is grounded in forging a profound personal connection with each client, enabling them to embark on a journey of self-discovery and create a path toward a healthier and brighter future.
Shivanee specializes in counseling services that encompass a wide spectrum of challenges, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, negative thought patterns, and identity crises. One area that holds particular significance and interest for Shivanee is her ability to support clients dealing with trauma and loss. Life often presents profound moments of pain and grief, leaving emotional scars that can be difficult to heal. Whether an individual has experienced a traumatic event or is grappling with the loss of a loved one, Shivanee is dedicated to providing unwavering support and expert guidance. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate the complexities of trauma and loss and find resilience and hope amidst the darkness.
Shivanee’s counseling philosophy revolves around nurturing self-awareness and positivity. Shivanee: ‘I have been passionate about the subject of psychology since I was a teenager. Just understanding the human brain, how it absorbs the information, processes it and accepts it, the whole journey that we as humans cover with the various experiences in life. And how these experiences teach us, shape our personalities and make us realise what life is all about is what psychology has been for me in terms of relation and application. And now how I can help people understand this process and live through it, navigate through their experiences and journeys to face and embrace the various challenges of life. This is the beauty of me wanting to just remain close to the subject and mankind in the most noble way’.
