Education & Experience
Saeeda Almarzooqi is a dedicated psychologist with extensive experience working with children, youth, and families. A fellow at both the Donald J. Cohen Fellowship (IACAPAP) and the Sheikha Shamsa Fellowship Program for Early Childhood with Yale University, she holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from UAEU and has presented at national and international conferences on children's mental health.
Trained in specialized UAE facilities and having worked in Al Jalila Hospital with children, Saeeda focuses on anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, and parenting skills. She uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to support her clients. Known for her compassionate and non-judgmental approach, she creates a safe environment for clients to explore their emotions.
Beyond her clinical work, Saeeda is involved in research and advocacy to improve mental health access and reduce stigma. She is passionate about helping children embrace their emotions and wellbeing, and she supports parents in becoming lifelong advocates for their children.
