For the parts words can't reach.

Meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, reiki, and aromatherapy — offered at our clinic in JLT, Dubai, alongside our psychology practice. For the hours when what helps most is a body-based practice rather than a conversation.
Wellness alongside psychology — the reasoning

Why we offer wellness alongside psychology

Some of the deepest shifts we see happen in the body first, and the mind catches up afterward. That is why, alongside our psychology practice, we offer a small set of wellness services — meditation and mindfulness, sound healing, reiki, and aromatherapy — chosen because they slow the nervous system down enough that something else becomes possible. They sit alongside therapy, not instead of it. If we think therapy is what would serve you first, we will say so on the 15-minute call.

Five wellness services

What we offer

Each of the five services below is offered as a 50-minute session, either one-to-one or in a small group. Groups are capped so the room stays quiet and the practitioner can attend to each person individually. Some services are also offered as short courses or workshops — details on each service page.

01

Meditation

Guided meditation rooted in the mindfulness tradition — sitting practice, breath work, body scan, open-awareness. Sessions are 50 minutes, one-to-one or in small groups. Suitable for beginners: no prior experience, no cushion required, no religious or spiritual affiliation assumed. Regular practice has 40+ years of research behind it — reduced anxiety, better sleep, more attention. Who it's for: For anyone starting a practice, and for people returning to one after it lapsed. Also for professionals who have tried meditation apps and want a teacher instead.

02

Mindfulness

Meditation is the seated practice. Mindfulness is what you carry into the rest of the day — into the meeting where you would usually react, into the school run, into the argument you were about to have. We teach it as a practical skill, not a philosophy. Sessions are 50 minutes, one-to-one or in a small group. Also available as a short course for parents and a workplace programme for teams. Who it's for: For people who understand meditation but want it to change how they actually live outside the meditation seat. Also for parents and professionals under sustained pressure.

03

Sound Healing

Tuned frequencies — Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, tuning forks — used to shift the body's state of arousal. You lie down, the sound moves through you, and the nervous system responds before the thinking mind can talk itself out of relaxing. Sessions are 50 minutes. What clients notice most: a deep quality of rest, often deeper than sleep on its own reaches, and a marked drop in mental noise for hours afterwards. Who it's for: For anyone dealing with sustained stress, insomnia, burnout, or nervous-system dysregulation. Also for people who find sitting meditation difficult and want an entry point that requires no effort.

04

Reiki

A Japanese-origin energy-work practice. A trained practitioner works with light-touch or no-touch hand positions on or above the body. Clients report a range of experiences — deep relaxation, warmth, emotional release, or simply an hour of quiet in the body. Sessions are 50 minutes and you remain fully clothed throughout. Often chosen by clients already doing therapy who want a parallel body-based practice. Who it's for: For clients who are curious about energy-based practices, or who have found conventional relaxation methods have stopped landing. Also often chosen by clients navigating grief.

05

Aromatherapy

Essential oils — inhaled, applied via massage, or diffused — used to work with mood, sleep, focus, and the physical experience of stress. Sessions combine oil-based bodywork with a brief consultation on which oils suit your specific pattern, and you leave with a personalised blend to use at home. Many clients use aromatherapy as the daily practice that holds them between weekly therapy sessions. Who it's for: For clients working on sleep, focus, low-grade daily stress, or a mood dip that has not yet crossed into something clinical. Also for anyone who responds strongly to scent.

Before you get started

Most-asked questions

Meditation is the formal, seated practice — you set aside a window of time to sit, breathe, and pay attention. Mindfulness is what you carry into the rest of the day — noticing your feelings before you react, noticing your body’s signals, noticing what you’re actually doing when you’re doing it. Meditation is the training ground; mindfulness is the life application. Most people benefit from both.

Not by default. The meditation, mindfulness and sound healing sessions we offer are secular. If you would prefer a specifically spiritual framing — Buddhist meditation or Sufi practice — we can refer you to trusted teachers in Dubai. Reiki has a Japanese cultural origin but is delivered in our clinic as a body-based practice, not a religious one.

Usually not. UAE plans generally cover psychotherapy but not wellness modalities like reiki, sound healing, or aromatherapy. Send us your insurance provider on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm what your specific plan covers.

Yes — meditation and mindfulness sessions can be delivered online, one-to-one or in a small group. Sound healing, reiki, and aromatherapy require in-person sessions because they work through direct sensory or physical presence.

For meditation and mindfulness: a weekly session for six weeks, plus a small daily home practice, is what most beginners find useful. For sound healing: many clients feel a shift after one session, with the effect deepening over 3–4 sessions spaced two weeks apart. For reiki and aromatherapy: variable — monthly for maintenance, more often during a difficult period.

A gentle first step

Some weeks you need someone to talk with. Some weeks you need someone to sit next to while the room goes quiet. Both are useful. Both are here.
